Villas Las Artes is an utterly unique Marbella beachside villa, with indoor pool and first-line sea views. Exquisitely renovated and decorated, this 5-bedroom, 1,500m2, Mediterranean Sea-front property is jaw-droppingly fabulous, even by Marbella's elite standards.
The owner transformed this beachside mansion into an exquisite Mediterranean villa of five-star Spanish style, with grand cathedral ceilings, stately stone fireplaces, and treasured art and antiques around every corner. This is a private luxury beachfront villa in Marbella that’s fit for royalty.
From the front entrance, with its Roman courtyard, burbling water features and 400-year-old olive trees that stand as sentries, it’s immediately clear that Villa Las Artes is a marriage of luxury, class and style. Even so, it’s impossible to imagine the lavishness that lies beyond the imposing, antique Spanish front door.
Recently featured in the exclusive Swedish Connoisseur Magazine, what greets you inside are old, polished stone floors, mood lighting, curated antiques, and hand-picked, custom-made everything. This is a place of grandeur, a modern palacio where fires roar in stone fireplaces, light reflects off triple-height ceilings, and live-in staff sets the table before meals.
There’s something special about Villa Las Artes, something that just works. You’ll feel it everywhere, whether you’re lounging by the indoor pool, curled up with a book in a cosy nook, or seated at the Bechstein piano. Sumptuous fabrics, luxurious furnishings and the finest everything, it’s hard to decide whether you’re staying in a private palace, an interior design showcase, or a carefully curated museum of fine art and antiques.
What’s easy to decide is that it doesn’t matter. Whatever Villa Las Artes is to you, one thing is certain: this seafront home is both fit for a king and a perfect fit for your family.
Your private front garden is the vast Mediterranean Sea
Everything about Villa Las Artes’ secluded private grounds demand attention: a 15-metre, outdoor infinity pool spans a spacious deck where palm trees sway in the breeze; immaculate gardens channel Roman grandeur and Balinese zen; outdoor seating is custom designed and sumptuously upholstered.
And yet, when you step outside the villa your eyes are immediately drawn to one thing: the view. Every angle, every cushy seat, every lavish space opens onto the sparkling expanse of your private front garden: the vast Mediterranean Sea, recessed below the villa’s bluff-top location, its white-capped waves pointing the way to a distant Morocco.
There are dozens of spaces and ways to enjoy this view. Sunbathe in a plush lounger or take cover on the shaded patio; four separate seating and dining areas follow the path of sun and shade throughout the day. Dive into the refreshing depths of your private saltwater pool, its infinity edge seemingly evaporating into the sea below. Stroll through tranquil landscaped gardens, where water features make for a stylish modern nod to ancient Roman aqueducts, their wash-bowl fountains alive with koi and water lilies.
A full outdoor kitchen keeps you supplied with drinks and snacks, and at dusk, your concierge can organise a private chef* to prepare your dinner to the soundtrack of gentle waves lapping at the sand. Enjoy a sundowner in the chill-out area to one end of the pool, then retire to the lounge for drinks. The villa is built for outdoor, sun-splashed living, each space carefully designed to enjoy every moment of the day.
The main living area has a real sense of grandeur, thanks to its cathedral-like, vaulted ceiling, Bechstein piano, masterworks of art and superb décor. Rose-coloured chairs surround an enormous stone fireplace. A secondary living space – the ‘snug’ – is the cosy heart of the home, with soft leather chairs, a second stone fireplace, a large TV and surround sound system.
Finally, the heads of the house can also enjoy their own private living quarters within the master suite, which occupies one whole wing of the villa’s first floor.
Villa Las Artes offers as many dining options as it does bedrooms. Overlooking the Mediterranean, the formal winter dining room is an impressive space decorated in a palette of chocolate and cream, with an antique table, impressive hearth and Andalucian candelabra.
A single peep-through fireplace separates the contemporary, fully decked out kitchen from the villa’s casual dining space, the perfect spot for a lazy brunch over the Sunday supplements.
The outdoor, 15-metre saltwater infinity pool offers an uninterrupted view of the Mediterranean Sea, while the indoor pool was also cleverly installed on the top floor to take in the magnificent sea views. Sea-grass sunbeds surround the indoor pool, and a large daybed is perfect for lounging with a good book and a cup of tea. The adjacent sun terrace overlooks the beach and palms below.
Downstairs, the basement is entertainment central, decorated with 1940s jazz club art and offering a large slate-bed snooker table, cinema lounge, and climate-controlled bodega with bar. Windows reveal Roman water features from the pool just above.
The home spa offers a gym, treatment room, sauna, and Turkish bath, adjacent to the indoor pool with a jet stream for a swim workout.
An outdoor lounge space is perfect for warm or cool weather, courtesy of an outdoor fireplace that keeps things toasty on chilly spring or autumn evenings.

Villa Las Artes is quite possibly the most original and stylish villa I’ve set foot in; completely transformed from what used to be a beachside bungalow, it now offers a vast 1500m of the most sophisticated beachside interiors you can find in Marbella. Apart from the sleek, contemporary kitchen, there’s nothing ‘minimalistic’ about this villa; every corner is packed with exquisite details – you almost feel like you’re being given an after-hours personal pass to the Prado!
