However, for those days or evenings when you just feel like staying in, head downstairs to watch a movie in the cool cinema room or upstairs to the impressive roof terrace for a warm summer’s evening under the stars.
DIP IN, DIP OUT. HEAVENLY POOL IN LUSH GARDEN SETTING
Villa Vie manages to pack a lot of outdoor space in a relatively small urban plot.
On the ground floor, the garden wraps around the villa from left to right with just a small slice taken out to allow for a private ground-floor bedroom terrace.
The villa gardens are completely encompassed by lush, tropical foliage, so although you are staying in the heart of Nueva Andalucía, when you’re relaxing on a sun lounger by the pool, you’ll enjoy privacy like an out-of-town villa.
A ground-floor terrace runs the length of the villa flowing out from the living space. A stylish Minotti sofa system is the perfect place to relax with your morning coffee and the 10-seater shaded dining table is the place for breakfast, lunch or fire up the gas BBQ for a laid-back dinner.
Next stop? The fourth-floor roof terrace which spans the entire m2 of Villa Vie. Divided into lounge, Jacuzzi hot tub and dining areas. There is a full kitchen, so you can prep and cook meals without having to travel up and down from the kitchen.
The spacious open-plan living space is on the ground floor with flat access to the poolside, neatly divided into the sitting room, a central dining space and a fully equipped kitchen.
The contemporary décor is accentuated by mid-century style feature armchairs, statement dining table and smoked glass lighting. A wall of frameless sliding doors opens the living space to the terrace.
The sitting room is furnished with a three-seater sofa, two armchairs, coffee table, small pouf and a cosy rug underfoot. The wall mounted Smart TV is backlit, and a Sonos music system is on hand for chilled background music while you cook or dine.
Take your pick from indoor or outdoor dining. On the ground floor, Villa Vie has an 8-seater indoor dining table, and just outside on the terrace, there is a further 10-seater dining table.
The sleek open-plan kitchen features a large island/breakfast bar with a Dekton countertop. Fully equipped, the kitchen offers many appliances, including two fridges and two separate freezers, an oven, a microwave, and a Nespresso machine. Invisible kitchen cupboards offer plenty of storage space.
Upstairs, the roof terrace offers further dining facilities and a full exterior kitchen.
There are plenty of relaxing spaces at Villa Vie – including a shaded terrace with outdoor sofas overlooking the lawned garden and pool.
If all you want to do is recline poolside with a good book, there are high-quality sun loungers on hand and further sun loungers on the first-floor bedroom terrace, and one floor further up, on the rooftop solarium.
The swimming pool at Villa Vie is perfect for dipping or swimming; it’s large at 12 x 6m and easily accessible via a set of Roman central steps leading into the shallow end.
The gardens are compact but perfectly maintained and upstairs you can relax in the Jacuzzi hot tub with a glass of champagne. Bliss!

A separate bathroom is located across the hallway from bedroom five, fitted with a sauna, walk-in rain shower and wash basin.
There is also a separate guest bathroom with WC and washbasin.
Your rental includes a complete clean and linen change every 7 days, plus additional light housekeeping in 2 visits during the week (housekeeping does not include kitchen clear-up).
Additional housekeeping hours can be booked and paid for in advance to cover things like after-dinner clearing up or personal laundry.

As I walked through the door I felt completely relaxed here... and also a bit spoiled by the array of five-star amenities, including a plush cinema room, sauna and roof top solarium with hot tub.
The bedrooms are beautifully designed and furnished to ensure an optimum night’s sleep and the en-suite bathrooms are immaculate. It’s a fabulous choice for large families, as each generation could have their own floor.
