The calming serenity of Villa Siroko is a rare find. This tranquility is partly to do with the skilfully designed, practical and oh-so stylish interiors. But it's also down to the ‘secret garden-esque’ private entrance to Cabopino beach with its dunes and wooden boardwalks.

A beachside villa with 6 en-suite bedrooms all equally as gorgeous as the next, this is Scandi chic meets Mediterranean luxe. There’s great zoning so it’s also ideal for cross-generational family holidays.

Welcome to Villa Siroko

INDOOR & OUTDOOR LIVING MEET IN PERFECT HARMONY

On approach, Villa Siroko looks like a traditional Spanish villa. Once the front door is opened, however, it becomes very clear that traditional design has been upgraded to sleek, modern interiors.

Relaxation immediately washes over you as the pine trees sway gently, high over the villa, adding a real Spanish charm to the place.

The walled garden and pool area are ideal for children with a lawn area for games. There’s a Weber BBQ and dining area near the pool as well as a shady casual seating area.

In the centre of the house there’s a wow-factor outdoor central patio with a huge table seating 22 people. This courtyard is just off the kitchen, is covered with sails and has an open fire for cooler months. It’s the real heart of the villa.

GORGEOUS INTERIORS – EVERY CORNER PHOTO-WORTHY

During the renovation of Villa Siroko comfort was considered at every stage of the design and build.

There are high-end fixtures throughout, from the bathrooms to the kitchen, while everyone has been afforded their own private bit of perfection within the villa.

Bedrooms have their own terraces, picture windows and patios. The bathrooms all have huge showers, Essentiel Element toiletries and some have standalone baths and double sinks.

The central courtyard divides the house, with its floor-to-ceiling glass doors letting light flow through the whole of the house.

In terms of the style and feel of the place, it’s a modern Mediterranean take on hygge, with a strong nod to design classics and a neutral palette that allows for a composed yet unfussy feel throughout.

Where it really triumphs, though, is in the way that its modern clean-lined design blends with soft linen window coverings, furniture made from natural materials, tasteful art and comfy statement chairs to give the place a wonderfully warm, homely feel.

The living area is largely open plan, but the three ground floor bedrooms and the TV/games room can be closed off if zoning and quiet time is needed. There are two staircases leading to three more bedrooms on the first floor.

THE BEST STRETCH OF BEACH IN MARBELLA

The location here is stellar. The closest beach is a nudist beach (which might not be for everyone) but just a further short walk away is Playa Cabopino.

This stretch of beach in Marbella has fine white sand and a famed coastal walk that’s ideal for running, cycling or just leisurely strolls.

The Playa Cabopino beach and the nearby port have bars and restaurants. There’s also a surf/paddle board school and rental.

The direct private access to the dunes of Cabopino is the major feature of Villa Siroko. There’s also a shower room near the villa’s beach access, so you can shower off after that sea swim.

There are plenty of different spaces in which to settle back and stretch out – both inside and out.

Inside, there’s a relaxed living room with an open-fire which is part of the very generous open-plan kitchen and dining room.

There are two first floor terraces, one looking into the central courtyard and the other over the pool and out to sea. These have comfortable seating to enjoy the view at whatever time of the day.

To escape the sun there’s a TV room with a football table which leads to the lawned garden next to the pool area and sauna.

The pool and garden will undoubtedly be the centre of the action during the day when outdoor living really comes into its own. Fun pool antics or sun-soaked bathing poolside can be mixed with dozing in the shade or sociable BBQ cooking.

The kitchen is perfectly situated between the courtyard, BBQ area and indoor dining room.

It has Miele appliances, two dishwashers, four ovens (one steamer oven and microwave), ice maker, wine cooler, fully equipped larder with fridge and freezer. There’s also a Nespresso Pro machine for those much-needed coffees and a breakfast bar seating four.

Villa Siroko has four places to eat: the indoor dining room which seats 6-8; next to the BBQ at the back of the house which seats 12 under the pine trees; and the kitchen with its 5-seater breakfast bar, and – of course – the amazing central courtyard, seating 22 around a bespoke hand-carved table.

The moment you step foot in this villa all stress washes away. The design is so soothing, and it feels immediately welcoming.

Outside, there are plenty of places around the villa’s 2000m2 plot to sit and relax under the shade of a pine tree, a parasol, or a sail, or lazing on sunbeds around the pool or on one of the two terraces.

You can also unwind and rid yourself of toxins in the amazing sauna, which has floor-to-ceiling windows looking out over the immaculately tended garden.

If you take the garden door towards the sand dunes you see from some of the bedrooms, you can run or walk part of the 160km “Senda Litoral” coast walk which spans the whole coast of Malaga province.
