Spacious enough to accommodate eight adults and two children, this elegant villa has been recently refurbished to the highest standard and combines airy open-plan living with immaculately landscaped gardens and a stunning infinity-style pool.
The entrance to Villa Luci is accessed through a neatly tended, walled garden filled with flowers. The light-filled entrance hall gives way to an open-plan living room with a welcoming, L-shaped family-sized sofa centring around a large TV and fireplace. There is also a smart, industrial style dining table with seating for 8.
The colour scheme is a neutral palette of soft greys, enhanced by statement pieces of bespoke artwork – including driftwood lamps and shell pendant light-fittings.
The living room flows into a stylish black and cream kitchen fitted with modern appliances and offering plenty of surface space – an ideal spot to rustle up a delicious meal for all the family.
The villa has three double bedrooms located on the second floor, all of which are bright and comfortable with super king-sized beds (180x200cm) and en-suite bathrooms. The large master suite also benefits from its own private terrace with fabulous views of the sparkling Mediterranean sea.
The fourth bedroom is located on the ground floor of the property and is comprised of a family suite with a king-sized bed and an adjoining studio lounge with a good quality sofa bed, small kitchenette and large TV.
This room can also be accessed via a private entrance leading in from the garden – lending it added privacy.
Villa Luci enjoys a family-friendly walled garden, with shady pine trees to relax in while contemplating a cloudless blue sky. A comfy oversized hammock amongst the trees provides the perfect vantage point from which to take it all in.
The gardens of Villa Luci are neatly tended and brimming with tropical plants such as banana trees and palms, which provide welcome shade when the temperatures start to soar.
The infinity pool is accessible via steps leading into the shallow end – making it great for kids.
Excellently appointed in the friendly suburb of Marbesa, Villa Luci is also close to a range of superb local restaurants and cafés so you can ditch the car and enjoy the fresh air.
One Marbella’s most exclusive bars – Nikki Beach – is located a 20 minute walk from the villa, while the prestigious Ocean Club is a short car-drive away in bustling Puerto Banus.

Villa Luci has a large, open plan living room with space for all the family to relax in. The comfy, L-shaped sofa faces a stylish, modern fireplace which provides added cosiness on those cooler winter nights.
There’s also a widescreen TV – perfect for movie nights – and a solid, industrial style table with eight chairs, so the entire family can enjoy dining together.
The neutral colour palette of this comfortable and light-filled room is enhanced by statement pieces of bespoke furniture – including quirky driftwood lamps and beautiful shell-detail light fittings.
The living room of Villa Luci opens out onto the spacious outdoor terrace via a set of sliding glass doors. In the warmer months, these can be rolled open so the sun-soaked gardens and swimming pool are visible – blending the inside and outside space effortlessly.
Villa Luci’s open-plan living-diner has a large dining table with eight leather chairs.
The dining space flows into a modern black and cream kitchen with chocolate coloured Silestone worktops.
This contemporary kitchen is well equipped with an induction hob, Espresso machine, two ovens, a microwave and a side-by-side fridge freezer with ice maker.
Outside on the pool-facing terrace, additional space for family dining is provided by a long, wooden table with six stylish metal chairs.
There is also a separate outdoor dining area situated beneath a shaded awning, complete with a large table, eight wicker chairs and a barbeque with ample grill space – ideal for cooking up an al-fresco feast for all the family.
There are plenty of private corners to relax in at Villa Luci – including a shaded porch with comfy outdoor sofas overlooking the flower-filled garden.
If you feel like reclining poolside with a good book, there are a number of high-quality sun loungers available, plus an oversized hammock hanging amongst the pines – the ideal spot for afternoon siestas in the shade.
The swimming pool at Villa Luci is an elegant, 9 x 5m infinity-style design – easily accessible via a set of Roman corner steps leading into the shallow end. If you enjoy a swim all year round then we can heat the pool for a small fee from September to June.
The gardens are compact but perfectly maintained and feature leafy palms, brightly-flowering bougainvillaea bushes and a majestic fir-tree with far-reaching boughs.
Bedroom 1: The spacious principal suite is located on the top floor of the property and has a private terrace with superb sea views. Comes with a super-king size bed (180x200cm)– which can be split into two twins- and an integrated bathroom with handmade, lava stone bathtub, LED feature lighting, twin basins, walk-in closet, rain shower cubicle and separate loo.
Bedroom 2: Located on the top floor opposite the master bedroom, this room has a super king-size bed (180x200cm)and an alcove window overlooking a large private terrace with two luxury loungers, surrounded by trees and the sound of birdsong. En-suite, made to measure bathroom with tropical wood sink and full-size bath with overhead shower.
Bedroom 3: Located on the top floor, facing the master suite, this room has twin beds (90x200cm which can be joined together to make a super-king), and a charming Juliet balcony overlooking the pool and gardens. En-suite, made to measure bathroom with shower and tropical wood sink.
Bedroom 4 + 5: Positioned on the ground floor of the villa, this family suite is comprised of a bedroom with super king-size bed (180cmx200cm) and an adjoining studio-lounge complete with good-quality, Italian-spring mechanism sofa bed, large TV and separate shower room with twin basins in tropical-wood surround. Also contains a small kitchenette with cooker, dishwasher and fridge. This room can also be accessed via its own door from the exterior of the villa so it is not necessary to enter through the bedroom.
Your rental includes a complete clean and linen change once a week plus additional light housekeeping in 1 or 2 visits during the week. Additional housekeeping hours can be booked and paid for in advance to cover things like after-dinner clearing up or personal laundry, and we can also source live-in maids if required.

Villa Luci is ideally located in the leafy suburbs of Marbesa in East Marbella, a 550-metre stroll from kilometres of sunny Costa del Sol beaches.
The villa is situated on an attractive, tree-lined street with a range of amenities on the doorstep, meaning you can leave the car at home should you choose to, with a good Uber service to do the supermarket run. Transfer time from Malaga airport is just 30 minutes.
An 8-minute wander down the road will lead you to a selection of local restaurants and cafés. One of our favourites for a laidback lunch is, Simbad beach restaurant, just 12 minutes walk from the villa, or try the new stylish Sugarbay for a younger vibe with good music, while the world-renowned Nikki Beach is also just 18 minutes walk along the new boardwalk.
If you’re in the mood for exploring further afield, the stylish and sophisticated Puerto Banus with its iconic port and range of designer boutiques is an 18-minute drive from Villa Luci.
Here you will find the full array of international and top-class cuisine that Puerto banus is famous for, not to mention the front-line dining looking out over those beautiful yachts. Its also home to the world-famous Ocean Club with its stylish beach-front location.
