The living space is on the main floor, with light wood floors, 3 metre high ceilings and a minimalist approach to design.
The open plan living, dining and kitchen area is a wonderful space for families to come together to cook, dine or just relax.
The indoor-outdoor lines are softened by the wall of sliding glass doors which add an extra sense of space and luminosity throughout.
The sitting room area is furnished with an L-shaped leather sofa with a large circular mirror over the natural gas fireplace and floor to ceiling decorative shelves. A grand 75″ Smart TV faces the sofa.
Head downstairs, to the large ‘basement’ den; perfect for younger or teenage guests. The space is furnished with a large leather sofa and armchair, TV, dining table and chairs for six guests.
Dine in or out, or both! The open-plan living and dining area seamlessly opens out to the covered summer terrace, so you can seat adults at one table and younger guests at the other.
Indoors, there is a light wood oval table with six stylish black tub chairs and a central pendant light feature. Outdoors, there is a bench style six seater dining table and Weber BBQ.
Villa Kalypso’s wraparound terrace has the feel of an exclusive beach club that you have all to yourself. The borders are surrounded by huge green fronded foliage, the poolside hammock and the wicker light shades gently sway in the wind, and the hot tub bubbles away in the background next to the double day bed.
The lower-level den is also a great space to unroll your mat and practice yoga or meditation.
Principal Bedroom 1:
The principal bedroom is located on the ground floor and features a corridor of ‘his and hers’ closets, a long mirror for dressing and a ceiling fan for keeping cool. Furnished with an Emperor (2mx2m) bed, 2 bedside cabinets, a 50″ LG TV, leather sling back chair and a window seat.
This bedroom has access to the rear of the ground floor terrace.
The en-suite bathroom features a walk-in rain shower with window, floating light wood cabinets with a single washbasin and mirror overhead, an enclosed WC and bidet, and a keyless safe. There is frosted glass access to the rear of the terrace.
Guest Bedroom 2:
Bedroom 2 is located on the first floor. Furnished with a 160cm bed with ceiling fan overhead, 1 bedside cabinet, a fabulous circular wall mirror, workspace and integrated wardrobe recess. This bedroom has access to the first floor terrace.
The en-suite bathroom features gorgeous navy blue fish scale tiles and is equipped with a walk-in rain shower, single washbasin with cabinet underneath, a WC and bidet.
Guest Bedroom 3:
Bedroom 3 is located on the first floor. Furnished with a 160cm bed with a ceiling fan overhead, 2 bedside cabinets, workspace, tub chair, integrated wardrobe. This bedroom has access to the first floor terrace.

Bedroom 4 is a large family room located in the lower ground floor.
Furnished with a 180x200cm Vispring bed and a bunk bed with single beds (top bunk suitable for over-12’s), workspace and limited storage (no wardrobe or hanging space available).

Light Housekeeping
Your rental includes a complete clean and linen change every 7 days, plus 1 additional light housekeeping visit during the week (housekeeping does not include kitchen clear-up). Additional housekeeping hours can be booked and paid for directly to cover things like after-dinner clearing up or personal laundry*.

To help you get the very best from your stay at Villa Kalypso, our Guest Experience Team can help you with hire cars and transfers when booked in advance. There is also an excellent local taxi service on-call or located at the taxi rank outside the Palacio de Congresos conference centre and the Hotel Don Pepe Gran Melia both an 8 minute walk away. You can get UBER or BOLT direct to the villa using the app.
