Casa Mara is located just 180 metres – an easy 2-minute flat walk to Playa Rio Verde beach and the glorious promenade which links Marbella to Puerto Banus and beyond.
It’s an ideal location if you want to spend lazy days on the beach combined with boutique shopping and dinner experiences in nearby Puerto Banus and Marbella.
Or why not mosey along the Golden Mile where you’ll encounter some of Marbella’s finest eateries: whether you’re seeking an organic brunch, authentic Spanish lunch menu or a Michelin-star evening.
You can walk into the wonderful port area of Puerto Banus (10 minutes) along the beachfront promenade, or if you’re feeling energetic, head the other way to Marbella. It will take you about 50 minutes along the prom, depending on how fast you walk, but there is no better way to experience happy, sun-filled life in Marbella.
Whilst in Marbella, take a stroll around the old town with its pretty whitewashed streets, church squares and chic boutiques. Stop for an impromptu tapa near Plaza de los Naranjos where you’ll find some of Marbella’s best loved tapas bars.
Further afield, you can easily visit charming white villages along the coast, like Benahavis, Ojen or Ronda.
If you want to stay strictly on the coast, why not head along to the small harbour of Cabopino or the the vibrant seaside village of La Cala de Mijas? Or our absolute favourite city, Malaga with its happy-go-lucky ambience, impressive Muelle Uno leisure port, Picasso museums, and phenomenal selection of places to dine.
