Welcome to Villa Kynthia

Sumptuous interiors and an elegant master level overlook jaw-dropping views

Step through the elegance of wrought-iron double doors, and into the spacious opulence of Villa Kynthia’s reception rooms. The enchanting entrance hall houses a Minstrel-style gallery and radiates a graceful sense of space that sets the tone for an entire home.

It is this casual sophistication that echoes throughout Villa Kynthia. The golden Spanish sun streams through French doors and oversize windows, splashing light over every level of the estate, which begins at the lower-level bodega, with its sleek antique table and stocked wine cellar, and soars up to the penthouse-style master level.

Recessed lighting and tray ceilings illuminate the oversized living and dining rooms, which blend in a seamless dance of open plan living. Plush seating and cream-colored sofas encircle the living room’s wood-burning stone fireplace, a cosy invitation to sit down, relax and enjoy your family. In the dining room, a wrought-iron chandelier overhangs the antique table, which beckons lazy conversation and laughter over Andalusian delicacies and Spanish wine.

The master suite is the epitome of this fine villa. Sprawling over the entire upper floor, this opulent retreat combines an elegantly styled bedroom with a private office, expansive dressing room, and spectacular bath: travertine marble that scales every surface, criss-crossing his-and-her sinks, a large shower and corner tub, and designated nook for spa treatments. Just off the bedroom, your private terrace overlooks remarkable vistas.

Because yes, the view here is more than just a pretty backdrop. It is the centrepiece of Villa Kynthia; a sight as impressive and beautiful as the treasures housed within. At your feet sit 280º of the most stunning views in Andalusia: rolling Marbella countryside and golf courses, the blinking lights of the New Golden Mile, the majestic Estepona Mountains, and the sparkling Mediterranean coastline, its gentle waves stretching over the sea and south to Morocco and Gibraltar.

Terraced gardens, a welcoming pool and 280º of Andalusia’s finest views

When you arrive at the sprawling Villa Kynthia, it’s immediately obvious that the view is unbeatable: stretching as far as the eye can see, an incredible 280º panorama sweeps over golf courses and sun-splashed Andalusian countryside, skimming the Estepona Mountains and the coastline of the New Golden Mile before tumbling into the Mediterranean. The seascape touches Gibraltar, Morocco and the coastline of northern Africa.

Yes, this view is unbeatable. And yet, Villa Kynthia is up to the challenge.

Sitting close to the Hotel El Paraiso, the villa’s spacious garden centres on the refreshing infinity pool, its cerulean blue playing complement to the manicured garden’s deep green foliage and jewel-hued blooms. Three levels of terraced gardens cover the estate, painting arbours in white wisteria and walls in climbing bougainvillea.

Ringing the pool, an expansive deck offers sun and shade; a huge, wraparound sofa on a covered terrace, and a line of sun-loungers to soak up the rays. In winter you can have the pool heated for a small supplement (15th October to 30th April).

An Argentinean asador, or grill, and ample outdoor seating invite you to dine al fresco. And as the sun goes down, a glass of Spanish wine in your hand, one thing is sure: you won’t want to head indoors for supper. Or ever.

Relax in the leafy suburbs of Estepona and San Pedro

Where Marbella offers glamour and refinement, the area surrounding Estepona and San Pedro has become the destination of choice for visitors looking for understated luxury.

Villa Kynthia sits in El Paraiso, overlooking the stunning hills and mountains that reach towards Estepona, and views that extend to Gibraltar and the coast of Africa. This is an upmarket leafy residential suburb of Estepona, though in reality you are closer to the chic beachside town of San Pedro with its newly developed family friendly boulevard and excellent restaurants.

The surrounding lanes are home to multi-million dollar mansions and chic apartments, so you are in very good company, and its never too far to pop out for a pint of milk!

Located a short way past Puerto Banus and San Pedro, this exclusive leafy suburb offers an exceptional standard of villa accommodation and is just a short drive from the buzz of the main resorts of the Costa del Sol.

If you fancy a walk, the nearest commercial centre with restaurants are about 1km away, which takes about 12 minutes, and the nearest beach at 2km away takes about 20 minutes making use of the footbridge.

Further along the main road is the pretty resort of Estepona, or try heading inland to Benahavis Pueblo, known for its cluster of restaurants and chef training schools for the Costa del Sol, definitely worth exploring for an evening meal out.

This location offers peace and tranquility, yet you are never too far from the action and excellent dining options of the Marbella coastline.

Situated in on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea, Marbella is a resort known widely for it’s glitz and glamour, but for those to choose to explore the area you will find plenty of Spanish charm, culture and character . The resort is renowned for its sunny climate that puts the ‘Sol’ in Costa del Sol, and here we have mile upon mile of beaches, white villages, bustling shops and breath taking scenery, making it an ideal holiday destination for families and groups of friends alike.

In Marbella you will find something for all tastes, from world-class cuisine to characterful tapas bars, from local produce to designer labels in neighbouring Puerto Banus, just 10 minutes drive from your villa.
