Villa Marilu

Carpeted stairs from the entrance lead you down to garden level and the living and dining area with an elegant sitting room decorated in neutral tones and furnished with a three-seater sofa with chaise longue and and a two-seater sofa, two armchairs, a coffee table, smart TV and a log fireplace for autumn-winter stays.

One side of the sitting room gives access to the sunny conservatory, and the other features a large picture window with a garden view.

We love the conservatory space with further sofa seating, where you can curl up with a book in front of the wood burning stove or enjoy a morning coffee in this lovely sun trap corner.

The indoor dining alcove is open to the sitting room. Furnished with a Scandinavian style dining table and seating for up to eight guests on comfortable wicker chairs.

Terrace doors from here lead out to the main dining terrace with an eight seater round dining table and the Argentinian-style charcoal BBQ.

There is a further six seater dining table in the conservatory, perfect for laid-back morning breakfast with garden views.

The double aspect kitchen at Villa Marilu is exceptional. Contemporary in design with plenty of counter prep space and fully equipped with high qualities accessories: two sinks, a state-of-the-art wine cooler, a large fridge freezer with a built-in ice machine, oven and electric hob, a coffee machine, food mixer, and all standard amenities to make preparing meals during your stay a breeze.

Villa Marilu is designed for laid-back relaxation. It’s ideal for family getaways with no airs and graces, just elegant living with comfortable furnishing throughout.

The sitting room is the place where you can kick back and relax with your favourite album streaming through the Sonos speaker or catching an after dinner movie.

Sandwiched between the sitting room and garden is the sunny conservatory, where come rain or shine, you can relax with a good book. Enjoy a morning coffee with the sun streaming in, or the pitter patter of rain and the wood burning stove for company.

The swimming pool at Villa Marilu is perfect for dipping or swimming; it’s large at 10x5m, perfect for floating around on your inflatable chaise lounger!

If you want to recline poolside and enjoy an afternoon siesta, there are five high-quality sun loungers on the decked terrace where you can enjoy those exquisite sea views.

Principal Bedroom 1:
The principal bedroom occupies the entire first (top) floor offering a good level of privacy. It’s spacious and bright, with a lovely wraparound terrace which enjoys uninterrupted views to the coast and Marbella town.

Furnished with a king size (180cm) bed, a smart TV, two bedside cabinets, large drawer cabinet which divides the bedroom between the sleeping space, and a dressing/sitting area which features an armchair and integrated wardrobes.

The terrace is furnished with a wicker sofa, two recliners and a coffee table.

The en-suite bathroom is equipped with a walk-in shower, double wash basin with cupboard space underneath and WC.

Guest Bedroom 2:
Bedroom 2 is located on the entrance level and shares a bathroom with bedroom 3. Furnished with a king-size (180cm) bed, integrated wardrobe and drawers with a Smart TV in the centre, two bedside cabinets, a work bureau/dressing table.

The shared bathroom is equipped with a walk-in shower, double wash basin and WC.

Guest Bedroom 3:

Bedroom 3 is located at entrance level, along the hallway next to Bedroom 2 – ideal for parents and children to sleep on the same level. The bedroom is bright with dual aspect windows. Furnished with a king-size (180cm) bed, bench-style workspace, and a wall of integrated wardrobes.

The shared bathroom is equipped with a walk-in shower, double wash basin and WC.

Guest Bedroom 4: Bedroom 4 is located on the lower ground floor. Furnished with twin beds (90cm x 200cm), two bedside tables, an armchair and smart TV.

The bathroom next to the bedroom is equipped with a semi-circular walk-in shower, single wash basin, heated towel rail and a WC.

Light Housekeeping

Your rental includes a complete clean and linen change every 7 days, plus additional light housekeeping in 2 visits during the week (housekeeping does not include kitchen clear-up). Additional housekeeping hours can be booked and paid for in advance to cover things like after-dinner clearing up or personal laundry.

A pre-arrival shopping service is available from your Housekeeper, to cover essentials for the first 2 days. Goods + time are paid locally on arrival or pre-ordering is available with payment made before you travel.

Complimentary Itinerary Planning

Every booking includes around 3 hours of itinerary planning before you travel (more complex itineraries can be organised for a fee to cover extended hours).  As a guide, 3 hours is usually enough to help with your airport transfers and car hire, a chef service for a special meal, and to help you plan and book one day out.

GETTING AROUND

To help you get the very best from your stay at this villa, our Guest Experience Team can help you with hire cars and transfers when booked in advance. There is also an excellent local taxi service on-call and you can get UBER or BOLT direct to the villa using the app.

Villa Marilu is a perfect layout for families and welcomes children of all ages, however there is an unprotected drop at the side of the garden so small children should be supervised at all times.
