Five minutes from the coast, Villa La Galeria – located in one of Marbella’s oldest urbanisations, the Marbella Hill Club – is a newly redesigned oasis of tranquillity and privacy.
Villa La Galeria is a traditional Andalusian home: a grand villa of clean lines and soft curves, terracotta roof tiles and mature gardens. And yet, Villa La Galeria is also joyfully modern, with a shimmering pool and sleek outdoor furnishings, a top-of-the-range barbecue and sun-splashed loungers.

The living room takes up the centre of the house; a modern designer fireplace divides the room into distinct areas – one, a pop of red and the other, more subdued in grey – each with access to the outdoor lounge, gardens, and swimming pool. Both sitting areas are furnished in a contemporary style, mixed with some distinguished original pieces.
Separate to the dual living rooms, a large TV room offers another space for kids with TV and surround sound system. There is an additional TV area and sofa in a corner of the kitchen.
Outdoor lounge areas – one shaded, just off the formal living room and the other, a tiled living area beneath a decades-old tree – offer further seating.
The indoor formal dining room is located on the ground floor, off the living room and adjacent to the kitchen, and offers comfortable seating for 8+. Full glass doors open up fully, to deliver an indoor-outdoor dining experience in summer.

The contemporary white kitchen has a large island with breakfast bar and 3 stools. The bright and airy kitchen is a joy for hobbyist and professional chefs, offering sleek design, a gas 5-ring cooker and double-range oven, Siemans American-style fridge/freezer, dishwasher, Nespresso machine, and other amenities.

The main living terrace opens onto magnificent sea and La Concha mountain views, as well as an expansive garden which actually occupies two whole plots offering more space than most villas in the neighborhood!
The garden is home to the 12m x 5m swimming pool, sunbeds, and a summer lounge area with gas “Tucson” barbecue.
A large staircase leads down into the lower-level garden, populated with decades-old trees and an enormous sand pit for the kids!
There are three separate sitting, dining, and relaxation areas in the gardens – some shaded and each with its own distinct feel and purpose, so you can equally seek rest, celebration, or privacy.
Indoors, a family TV room offers UK TV service, Apple TV with Netflix, and an LG surround sound entertainment system.

Notes: There is space for additional camp beds in most bedrooms for parents who wish to share a room with their children. Bedroom 5 is accessed via the utility room or a separate entrance so works well as a nanny or staff bedroom.
Your rental includes a complete clean and linen change every 7 days plus additional light housekeeping in 2 further visits during the week. Additional housekeeping hours can be booked and paid for in advance to cover things like after-dinner clearing up or personal laundry, and we can also source live-in maids if required.

Villa La Galeria is a wonderfully spacious and relaxed family home with extensive grounds, and can easily be shared by two families with staff:
Villa La Galeria is located in Marbella Hill Club, a quiet residential suburb just outside the heart of Marbella. While the beach is technically within walking distance (about 30 minutes to the Golden Mile) “everything” Marbella is a few minutes’ drive away. A car is recommended, but Uber/taxis are readily available for trips around town.
This is one of Marbella’s oldest areas; leafy, luxury suburbs framed by the distinctive ‘La Concha’ mountain. A gentle drive will take you to glamorous beach front of the Marbella Club, and it’s just a couple of minutes drive to the glamorous port of Puerto Banus.
For eating out you are spoiled for choice within a 2km round trip, from Michelin-grade dining at the likes of the Hotel Puente Romano or Melia Don Pepe, to stylish out-of-town hot spots like Finca Besaya.
Along the beach there is a mixture of family run ‘chiringuitos’ serving up the fresh catch of the day, while chic beach bars like the Ocean Club offer gourmet cuisine with a taste of the Mediterranean.
For down time, take a stroll around the boutiques of Marbella’s old town and stop for tapas near Orange Tree square. Or you can easily visit typical white villages further along the coast, like Mijas and Benahavis, or smaller harbours like Capo Pino and the original fishing village of La Cala for a really Spanish vibe.
