Villa Kimu

Villa Kimu’s main living space is located on the ground floor, two levels above street level and connected by elevator from the garage below. Double-height ceilings and full-width sliding doors create a sense of openness, while the sea remains visible from almost every angle within the space.

A large seating area is arranged around the wall-mounted smart TV and wooden feature wall, with direct access onto the terrace and pool beyond. Above, the mezzanine provides an additional relaxed seating area with a large sofa bed suitable for teenagers or children.

The open-plan dining area at Villa Kimu seats 10 guests around a large wooden table positioned between the kitchen and living space. Sliding doors open directly onto the terrace, allowing indoor and outdoor living to feel naturally connected throughout the day.

The contemporary kitchen has a black and chrome colour palette and includes Siemens appliances, an integrated electric hotplate, oven and microwave, two fridges, a climate-controlled wine cooler and a Nespresso capsule coffee machine. A breakfast bar with seating for 4 guests provides additional casual dining space.

Stays at Villa Kimu centre around the incredible view: whether swimming morning laps in the infinity pool, kicking back with a good book on the terrace or taking in the spectacular sunsets from an upstairs balcony .

Beyond the villa, La Herradura offers a quieter side of the Andalucian coastline, with family-friendly beaches, laid-back chiringuitos and calm water ideal for swimming and paddleboarding. Marina del Este is just a short drive away for boat trips and evenings by the harbour.

Light Housekeeping

Your rental includes a complete clean and linen change every 7 days, plus two additional light housekeeping visits during the week (housekeeping does not include kitchen clear-up). Additional housekeeping hours can be booked and paid for in advance to cover things like after-dinner clearing up or personal laundry, or as a daily service.

All of our villas have a convenient stock-cupboard, with a starter supply of the essential household items you might need for a comfortable stay.

A pre-arrival shopping service is available from your Housekeeper, to cover essentials for the first 2 days. Goods + time are paid locally on arrival. Please ask our Guest Experience team for further details on how to place your order.

Complimentary Itinerary Planning

Every booking includes around 3 hours of itinerary planning before you travel (more complex itineraries can be organised for a fee to cover extended hours).  As a guide, 3 hours is usually enough to help with your airport transfers and car hire, a chef service for a special meal, and to help you plan and book one day out.

Concierge-Style Support in Spain

Once you arrive at Villa Kimu, your local villa manager-concierge will be on hand with further ideas and recommendations. They may be able to visit you at the villa if required, or if you think you might need a more personalised service, we can arrange for you to have a Personal Concierge* for the duration of your stay.

A stay at Villa Kimu places guests within easy reach of one of the Costa Tropical’s most relaxed and naturally beautiful stretches of coastline. La Herradura itself is known for its laid-back atmosphere, calm waters and excellent beachfront chiringuitos, many serving freshly grilled seafood directly beside the beach.

Marina del Este is just a short drive away and is ideal for long waterside lunches in summer, yacht charters, paddleboarding and diving excursions.

For a day out, the whitewashed streets of nearby Frigiliana and the lively old town of Nerja are both within easy reach, offering boutiques, tapas bars and spectacular coastal viewpoints. Slightly further inland, Granada and the Alhambra can also be explored as a full-day trip with a private guide.

Guests looking to slow the pace entirely can arrange private yoga sessions, in-villa massage treatments, wine tastings or chef experiences through the LVC Guest Experience team, allowing days at Villa Kimu to unfold entirely at their own rhythm.
