Villa Amrita rental includes a complete clean and linen change once a week plus additional light housekeeping in 1 or 2 visits during the week. Additional housekeeping hours can be booked and paid for in advance to cover things like after-dinner clearing up or personal laundry, and we can also source live-in maids if required.

GETTING AROUND

To help you get the very best from your stay at this villa, our Concierge is happy to assist with transfers, car hire, chauffeurs or shuttles during your stay.

You enter Villa Amrita through a striking art deco-style, stained-glass and double-height wall of windows, which reveal a marble entrance and double staircase, where coloured light dances on a floor of intricate marble and Art-Deco glass wall. This entrance, both astounding and memorable, offers just a hint of what awaits inside the villa.

Travel through to a vast living room with enormous glass walls – floor-to-ceiling windows that invite a startling panorama of the Marbella coastline, the Costa del Sol, and a distant Africa. There is seemingly no barrier between indoors and out. This is, unquestionably, the best vantage point on the Marbella coast.

The villa’s rich décor harkens back to the owner’s native India: jewel tones and gold highlights, plush fabrics and over-sized everything, including the massive, scarlet-coloured Versace sectional sofa in the main living room. Textures abound, from velvet and leather, to ostrich skin and richly coloured taffeta. Cubist paintings add interest.

In addition to the main living room, there are a further four lounges: two TV lounges adjoining the top-floor bedroom suites; a small lounge with pool table and private terrace in the staff apartment; and a Gentlemen’s lounge in the basement (see Relaxing, below).

Busy executives can keep business going smoothly in the Lamborghini office, fitted with vintage butter-soft ostrich skin desk and chairs, a suitably stylish space to entertain your very best clients.

A lift connects all floors of Villa Amrita, making the home wheelchair accessible to most areas.

A formal, indoor dining room graces the open-plan living area. It offers a formal dining seating for 8-10 guests. An additional dining space in the kitchen seats 10, handy for children to eat earlier if needed. The kitchen dining area looks out onto the gardens and outdoor dining terrace, which offers incredible sea views and dining space for 10 guests. (Additional child seating can be arranged)

The spacious kitchen features a striking turquoise-and-black colour palette, with accents of white polished-stone worktops. Hobby and pro chefs appreciate the professional-grade NEFF appliances, ovens, warmers, tandoor, double sinks and islands, cooking station with three induction hobs, and grills.

Villa Amrita is a home built for entertainment and relaxation. Take a dip in the white marble infinity pool or simply recline on the adjacent Ibiza-style sunbeds. The views from the pool are incredible!

Surrounding the pool, an enormous and impeccably manicured garden offers a peaceful koi pond, bar, modern Ibiza-style seating, and light-up tables. A gas BBQ and American fridge are located on the main terrace, which has two seating areas, two dining tables (seats 16 in current configuration), and table tennis.

Indoors, the basement has been converted into a plush Gentlemen’s Club, anchored by a hypnotic 12-metre tropical fish tank. The games area houses a snooker table, bar and secret bodega, while the sound-proofed home cinema offers VIP seating, a soft sofa, a projector, and BOSE surround sound.

There is also a complete home gym, with treadmill, bench, multigym, free weights, stepper, exercise bike, and bar with fridge.

Bedroom 1: Master suite on top floor in striking black and white decor, a double queen-sized bed (2 x 140cm beds), opens out to terrace with panoramic views, living area with sofas, TV, en-suite bathroom which interconnects with the second master suite at the other side. Bathroom has Jack and Jill vanity units with central (huge) bathtub, separate shower cubicle and two loos. Bedroom also features an interconnected dressing area between the two suites.

Bedroom 2: A second master suite on the top floor which interconnects with the main master via the bathroom and dressing room. Light blue modern décor, sitting area with 2 fun day beds and TV, 160cm king-size bed. Perfect for a family with children wanting to be close to master suite.

Bedroom 3: Top floor guest bedroom in jewel colours, ruby reds and fushia, with king-size bed, en-suite shower room in light grey marble with vanity. Separate living room with TV and space for 2 children’s beds on request.

Bedroom 4: Mirror of bedroom 3, also on top floor guest bedroom in opulent peacock blue colours, with king-size bed, en-suite shower room in light grey marble with vanity. Separate living room with TV and space for 2 children’s beds on request.

Bedroom 5: Brand new studio style suite on the ground floor with split-level bedroom-sitting area, small coffee station/kitchenette and modern en-suite shower room. Décor is in rich forest greens with tropical plants. French doors open out to the lower terrace with sitting area.

Bedroom 6 + 7: Available on request for staff. Ground floor apartment with 2 double bedrooms, a small kitchen and living room with pool table, TV, leading out to private furnished terrace. Shared bathroom with bath tub and separate shower.
