Villa Aluna is an impeccably executed 7-bedroom luxury villa sleeping 14 guests, set in beautiful gardens and just a short distance from the beach. Interiors are calm and considered, while the garden spa circuit beneath the pine trees beckons you to switch off, and relax.

Architecture and nature come together as one at Villa Aluna. Trees are not just a feature of the garden, but form the essence of the design: living spaces come alive with indoor planting, and a soothing palette of stone, timber and textured concrete gives the interiors a distinctly organic quality.

Its not just a villa; an entire level is dedicated to wellbeing and leisure, with a beautifully conceived gym, private cinema and softly illuminated studio. This versatile space lends itself equally as well to yoga and meditation as it does evening cocktails and dancing.

Welcome to Villa Aluna

Tucked away amongst towering pines in the tranquil Hacienda Las Chapas neighbourhood, Villa Aluna feels surprisingly peaceful for a home so close to Marbella.

Nature is intrinsic to the architecture itself, rather than simply surrounding it. Leafy ferns and sculptural greenery appear in living spaces and hallways, while established pines form a focal part of the garden entertaining area. Despite its scale and distinctly contemporary architecture, Villa Aluna feels calm and connected to its surroundings.

Seven en-suite bedrooms give larger groups plenty of privacy, while the sunken sitting room, spa, cinema and generous gardens provide inviting places to come together and connect.

Contemporary Spaces with a Natural Sensibility

Villa Aluna’s ground floor living room makes an immediate impression. A large sunken conversation pit sits beneath soaring ceilings, framed by indoor planting and a full-height library wall filled with books and decorative pieces.

As evening approaches, concealed architectural lighting warms the stone and textured surfaces, giving the room a soft and peaceful atmosphere.

Nearby, the sleek kitchen revolves around an oversized stone island – perfect for an at-home, chef’s table-style dining experience.

Concealed behind sliding glass, a cosy TV snug provides a more intimate place to relax, with curved built-in seating and a large TV. Throughout the villa, sculptural lighting, bespoke furnishings and carefully chosen natural materials give the interiors a distinctive yet understated character.

Peace and Privacy Beneath the Pines

Villa Aluna’s expansive private garden is one of its greatest luxuries. Tall umbrella pines rise above tropical planting, grassy lawns and trickling water features, creating welcome pockets of shade beyond the swimming pool.

Deeper in the garden lies the villa’s most striking entertaining space. Here, the outdoor kitchen and bar curve around the trunk of one of the original trees, turning it into a spectacular natural centrepiece. Nearby, a generous dining pavilion beneath a contemporary pergola creates an atmospheric setting for long lunches or a chef-prepared supper as the garden lighting flickers on.

Closer to the house, a shaded dining terrace provides an easy setting for breakfast or lunch by the pool. Generous terraces, daybeds and a sunken seating area provide plenty of room for the whole group to settle in for the afternoon

A tranquil oasis dedicated to wellbeing and play

Wellness forms the core ethos of Villa Aluna. The garden spa circuit includes a sauna, Japanese hot bath and cold plunge, while the lower ground floor fitness area area is quipped with Technogym cardio machines, strength-training equipment and free weights. Decorative planting and softly layered lighting make this feel far removed from a conventional home gym.

A large multi-purpose studio provides space for yoga, meditation and private wellness sessions, but can take on an entirely different character after dark. The room incorporates a bar with ice maker and DJ deck, allowing it to become a private entertainment space for special evenings.

Alongside this is a dedicated home cinema, with a wall-to-wall projection screen, surround sound and oversized seating for relaxed film nights.

Despite the generous proportions, the planting and softly layered lighting give the living spaces a surprisingly intimate feel.

Dining indoors at Villa Aluna centres around the kitchen’s oversized island, creating a relaxed chef’s table setting where up to 12 guests can gather. This lends itself particularly well to private chef dinners, with guests seated around the island to observe each dish being prepared.

Outside is where Villa Aluna really comes into its own for larger meals. The pool terrace offers an relaxed setting for breakfast and lunch, while the main garden dining area seats 16 beside the outdoor kitchen, allowing the whole group to dine together outdoors.

The main kitchen is comprehensively equipped with Miele appliances, integrated fridge/freezer and dishwasher, wine fridge, Inkapto coffee station, kettle and Nutribullet.

6 Villa Aluna Private Luxury Villa Marbella Bedroom 1A

Contemporary architecture feels remarkably organic at Villa Aluna, where the house has been designed around the landscape rather than separated from it. Mature trees have been bought in to the gym and garden entertaining spaces, while textured concrete, timber and stone are softened by considered planting and softly layered lighting.

Look closely and the details keep revealing themselves: a sunken conversation pit, an outdoor kitchen curving around a tree trunk, concealed cabinetry and an atmospherically illuminated studio that changes character after dark.
