Your villa has a team of staff on-site who will provide daily housekeeping and a full linen change at least every 3 days. They also attend the pool and garden and can supply fresh towels for the pool and spa as well as undertake personal laundry and ironing.

CONCIERGE SERVICES

This property has a Concierge/Property Manager and an Events Manager employed directly by the owner to assist you personally with anything you require before and during your stay.

You will also have details for The Luxury Villa Collection concierge for any additional assistance that may be required and not available via your Villa Concierge.

This villa is within reach of several of Spain’s historical cities and the centre of Madrid where you can browse the shops, visit ancient monuments and eat in the best restaurants. We work closely with the best local suppliers to help make your stay extra special.

MEALS INCLUDED

The rental price is for a full-inclusive stay. Your breakfast, lunch and dinner will be prepared each day based on your choice of menus agreed before travel. Dishes focus on seasonal local produce and include Spanish wine (other international wines can be ordered in advance). An afternoon snack and after-dinner drinks bar can also be served and there is a complimentary tea and coffee service available throughout the day.

GETTING AROUND

To help you get the very best from your stay at this villa, our Concierge is happy to assist with transfers, car hire, chauffeurs or shuttles during your stay.

There are three main living areas: the main salon, a vast space with two distinct living areas, oversized cream Chesterfield sofas around a large open fire, and a sumptuous family seating area; the second living room, with coffee-cream Chesterfield sofas, a modern marble fireplace, antique paintings, a large-screen TV and office space; and a third living room in the guest wing, with a large TV and dual aspect to the front and rear gardens.

The estate offers three separate dining rooms: the main and formal dining room, decorated with luxurious drapes, fine china dining service and other stately details, and seating 16 to 60 guests around a large fireplace; the informal dining room, perfect for breakfast and lunch and seating 10+; and the summer terrace dining area, with view of the gardens and pool.

Please note that the kitchen at Hacienda Sofia is for staff use only. However, show cooking and cookery classes may be arranged.

Sit down to family game night in the formal living room or movie night in the second living room and guest lounge. Additionally, there is a dedicated entertainment room with drop-down screens and state-of-the-art TV and sound systems. WiFi is available throughout the house.

Outdoors, landscaped gardens wind by immaculate lawns and Italian-style lily ponds, to lead to the infinity pool with shallow area for children.

Hacienda Sofia’s main bedrooms are located in two separate bedroom wings and 2 additional bedrooms are housed in the tower section of the old property. There is also a section of the house reserved for the owners and therefore closed to guests.

Bedroom 1: Spacious master suite located on the ground floor, with a king-sized bed, canopy chairs and TV. The en-suite bathroom is wet-room-style, with a roll-in shower, twin basins, a separate bath and dressing area, and dressing table. Window opens onto gardens.

Bedroom 2: Large, ground-floor suite decorated in soft greys, with a king-sized bed, two elegant chairs, and a door opening on the garden. The en-suite, cream marble bathroom offers grey granite, twin basins, a bath and separate shower.

Bedroom 3: Suite with two queen-sized beds with regal headboards and a door that opens directly onto gardens. The en-suite, cream marble bathroom has twin basins with white marble surround, as well as a bath and separate shower.

Bedroom 4: Large, corner ground-floor bedroom with a king-sized bed, sitting area, TV cabinet, and three French doors. En-suite, cream marble bathroom with grey granite, twin basins, oval bath and separate shower.

Bedroom 5: Upstairs tower bedroom, located in the antique section of the home and with lift access, offers a dormer window, beamed ceiling, and king-sized bed. The small, en-suite shower room with white marble and a single basin.

Bedroom 6: Upstairs tower bedroom, located in the antique section of the home and with lift access, offers a dormer window, beamed ceiling, and two single beds to form a super-king bed. The small, en-suite wet room has a porcelain basin.

Bedroom 7: Ground-floor twin room with two, 4-poster single beds and a French door leading to the garden. The en-suite marble bathroom has twin basins and a combined bath/shower.

Bedroom 8: Ground-floor twin room with a wood burner and two, 4-poster single beds and a French door leading to the garden. En-suite marble bathroom with single basin and combined bath/shower.

Bedroom 9: Ground-floor bedroom off the guest living room. Decorated in greys with a king-sized bed and linen headboard. En-suite, marble shower room with twin basins.

Bedroom 10: Smaller, ground-floor bedroom off the guest living room. Queen-sized bed and mother-of-pearl chandelier, with an additional cot. En-suite, marble shower room with twin basins.

Bedroom 11: Large loft bedroom above the guest living room. King-sized bed, TV cabinet and desk, and a beamed, vaulted ceiling with windows overlooking the front of home. En-suite shower room with twin basins.
