General Information
The following general information comprise of terms that are usually imposed by the suppliers of the properties that we advertise. We provide the below for such information-only purposes; it is, at all times, down to the supplier of your chosen arrangements to determine the specific terms and conditions that will apply to your contract with that supplier
check-in & check-out Times
You must adhere to the check-in and check-out times, which are set by the supplier and will be communicated to you prior to your arrival. Typically, check-in is from 17.00 to 18.00 and no later than 21.00, and check-out is 10.00 to 11.00.
Changes to the supplier’s check-in and check-out times can be requested prior to arrival, but such requests will be subject to confirmation from the supplier and/or an applicable fee.
Upon check-out, the supplier’s terms and conditions shall confirm what steps need to be taken by yourself in relation to handing back the property. Such steps may include leaving the property in a clean and tidy condition including (but not limited to) cleaning all cutlery and crockery and placing all rubbish in the appropriate waste or recycling bins outside. Nonetheless, please check the supplier’s terms and conditions to see what is required.
Care of the Property
The supplier of your chosen property requires you to take all reasonable and proper care of the property, including (but not limited to) all buildings, gardens, fixtures, fittings, furniture, pictures and other effects in or around the property and the supplier requires you to leave all components of the property in the same state of repair and condition at check-out as found at your check-in.
In the event of any damage caused during your stay, you are required to notify the supplier at the earliest opportunity and within 24 hours of the incident. If you are unable to reach the supplier, please contact us and we can relay the message to the supplier on your behalf.
Failure of you and your guests to exercise reasonable care in-line with the supplier’s terms and conditions may result in deductions being made from the Breakages Deposit.
Neighbourhood Requirements
When you make a booking for a particular property the supplier will require you to respect the property’s surroundings and not disturb or otherwise annoy the occupants of neighbouring properties. You also agree to adhere to any specific noise restrictions in place at the property, which will be communicated to you in advance.
Guest Information Books
Where a supplier has provided a Guest Information Book, these are for reference during your stay only. You agree to not remove the book from the property. The replacement cost of a Guest Information Book is £95 and will be deducted, by the supplier, from the Breakages Deposit.
Child-friendly properties
At child-friendly properties in which the supplier has provided a highchair, cot, stair-gates, baby-monitors, toys or other similar facilities, these are for use at your discretion and neither we nor the supplier shall be responsible for any damages that occur as a result of such usage.
Swimming Pools and Jacuzzis
Swimming pools and hot tubs by their very nature carry their own inherent risks. You must ensure that you and all members of your party take great care when using or being near any swimming pool(s) at the property where you are staying. You should for example make sure you and all members of your party are aware of shallow and deep end (including the location of any change of depth) and layout of the pool (including infinity edges) by physically checking it prior to use.
All persons should walk rather than run around or near the pool and you must ensure that no-one dives into the pool at any time or enters it while under the influence of alcohol.
You must check the pool every day before use and report any apparent defects.
Many pools are not fenced. If you require a fenced pool, you must inform us of that requirement before you make your booking to allow us to locate one for you. Whether fenced or not, children must be supervised at all times by a responsible adult.
Linen
Please note, all properties have good quality bed linens. Products including (but not limited to) sun cream, fake tan, waterproof make-up and hair dye can all cause permanent damage to bed linen and towels, and the supplier requires you to take care when using these products.
If damage / staining does occur and the items cannot be cleaned, the supplier may deduct the cost of replacement items from your Breakages Deposit.
The supplier recommends that if you are planning to use such products during your stay, to bring your own spare linen to prevent damage to such linens, to prevent having your Breakages Deposit affected
Smoking
Please note that, unless otherwise advised, all properties are non-smoking. Should you fail to adhere to this condition, the supplier may deduct from your Breakages Deposit, please check their specific terms and conditions.
Pets
The supplier requires prior written consent where you wish to have a pet stay with you at your chosen villa and may impose an additional charge.
Where a supplier allows pets to stay, they may require such pets to be kept under control at all times, the disposal of faeces be done so in a clean and sanitary manner and limited (or none at all) access to bedrooms or furniture.
Where the suppliers allow pets but find you have not adhered to their terms and conditions and the pets have caused damage and/or require extra cleaning, the supplier may deduct from your Breakages Deposit.
As always, to be fully aware of what the supplier requires, it is recommended to check the supplier’s terms and conditions to see the specific terms which are required where pets are permitted.
