The first living space is designed for gazing at the bespoke red ribbon sculpture, twisting through a glass shaft passing through all 3 floors of the villa. The scale of the sculpture is matched by waterfall-like peacock blue drapes to one side, and the seamless floating staircase to the other.
The stylish, monochrome main living room looks out onto the pool and gardens, and features chain-link modern artwork and a white cube that opens up to reveal a complete cocktail bar. Bright textiles and colour-changing LED lights add a pop of colour. Glass walls disappear into the floor for indoor-outdoor living, doubling the size of the space.
The TV lounge is a cosy family cocoon that contrasts perfectly with wide-open spaces elsewhere in the villa. A curved wooden TV screen extends over the oversized sofa. Drop the blinds for a home-cinema experience with incredible surround sound. On the other side of the screen, a second “snug” space offers a spot for quiet contemplation while gazing out at the pool.
The self-contained apartment also has a complete living room with open-plan kitchen, TV system and private patio with dining table and chairs.
Cooking is a chef’s dream in the Poggenpohl custom-built kitchen, which features sleek white surfaces, a Tom Dixon orb lighting, large windows, and state-of-the-art appliances. Everything is hidden from sight. A secondary service area is tucked around back, for staff access.
You’ll dine in style at a 2-metre square dining table, set under a striking, hand-blown Murano glass chandelier. A violet baby-grand piano also graces the dining room which has an adjoining climate-controlled bodega.
A handcrafted exterior dining table seats 20 guests in comfort. The outdoor kitchen consists a Viking professional grill and service area with wine chiller and dishwasher.
For informal meals, families enjoy sitting around the breakfast bar, where a TV emerges/lowers from sight.
A health and fitness spa, decorated in soothing monochrome tones, occupies most of the ground floor and offers everything from a state-of-the-art TechnoGym, to a two-person hair salon, to massage and treatment rooms. There is also a multi-purpose yoga space, sauna and steam room, as well as an ice bath.
The black-tiled outdoor infinity pool measures 23m x 7m and is ringed by outdoor living space, including vast day-beds with bio-ethanol living flames to relax into the evening, 5 oversize sun beds, 2 double-width canopied day beds, and an outdoor living room with TV and cantilever roof shade.
Finally, there is a professional-grade tennis court fitted with Flexi-pave, the preferred surfacing of the US Tennis Open.
Bedroom 1: The Principal bedroom. Occupies the vast cantilevered floor that overhangs the swimming pool and has a custom-made 260cm x 220 cm bed, TV, drinks service, and in-room, Japanese-style, custom-made Bioffi bathtub. Large his-and-her dressing rooms, black marble en-suite bathroom with his-and-hers showers and vanities.
Bedroom 2: Ground-floor ‘Blue’ guest suite with king-size bed, en-suite marble bathroom, walk-in wardrobe and access to a private terrace overlooking gardens and pool. Connects with Bedroom 3 via a kitchenette.
Bedroom 3: Ground-floor ‘Orange’ guest suite with king-size bed, en-suite marble shower room, walk-in wardrobe and access to a private terrace overlooking gardens and pool. Connects with Bedroom 2 via a kitchenette.
Bedroom 4: The first of three bedrooms off the top-floor corridor: The ‘Chocolate’ Bedroom has a king-size modern sleigh bed, TV, Eames seating, integrated concealed shower room and access to a private terrace overlooking the pool.
Bedroom 5: The second of three bedrooms off the top-floor corridor, the ‘White’ Bedroom has a double-size round bed, TV, black leather chair, integrated concealed shower room and access to a private balcony overlooking the pool.
Bedroom 6: The last of three bedrooms off the top-floor corridor, the ‘Fuschia’ Bedroom is a smaller room with a king-size bed, full en-suite white marble bathroom and access to a private balcony overlooking the pool.
Bedroom 7 (apartment): Located at the other side of the house, this is one of two bedrooms in the self-contained 100m2 apartment. Twin bedroom with French doors to the private patio, shares with bedroom 8 a sleek white family bathroom with bathtub, overhead shower, and twin basins.
Bedroom 8 (apartment): The second of the two apartment bedrooms, with a queen-size bed and French doors to the private patio. Shares the family bath with bedroom 7.

HOUSEKEEPING INCLUDED
This villa is managed by a small team of staff employed directly by the owner. Your rental includes housekeeping 7 days a week, plus a linen and towel change once every 3 days. Additional housekeeping hours may be available to book and pay for in advance to cover things like after-dinner clearing up, extra linen changes or personal laundry.
