Welcome to Villa Firenze

Your first impression is of a grand, Florentine palazzo, then you remember you’re in Marbella’s finest suburb

Villa Firenze is a grand and unforgettable journey through history and around the world. In this magnificent home you can enjoy the finest art and interiors through a series of beautifully themed spaces connected by gentle arches and patios.

It begins with your first footfall on the villa’s timeworn stone staircases, which lead from the sweeping entrance courtyard into the home’s forecourt.

An antique monastery door greets you – a hint at the owner’s love of fine art and collectables. Step through, and your first impression is of a grand, Florentine palazzo, where water fountains and half-open walkways, ablaze with blooms and creeping vines, lead the way through ivy-clad archways that link the property’s four main towers.

Villa Firenze then takes a turn, transporting you across the continents – through the formal sitting room, crowned by an ornate ceiling, through to the snug, crafted from a reclaimed Moroccan palace and at the other side a Colonial Africa-inspired library and reading lounge.

Then, the magnificence of Renaissance Europe: a formal dining room, created from the walls and hand-painted ceiling panels pieced from the remnants of an 18th-century French castle.

The palatial world tour continues through a rural Andalusian country kitchen, downstairs to the Greek-style ‘baths’ of your private spa, and a Venetian-style theatre, almost forgetting the luxe, millionaire lifestyle of modern Marbella before circling back to far-reaching views of the sparkling Spanish coast, Gibraltar, and the distant Moroccan coastline.

Villa Firenze is a palatial and remarkable home to rival the world’s finest private mansions

The approach to Villa Firenze, which unfolds over 17,000 square-metres (4.2 acres) of carefully curated gardens aflame with tropical blooms and thick greenery, winds through private parkway and down several terraces, each providing a glimpse of what awaits.

An intimate Seville-inspired plaza reveals the entranceway to the villa. Step through into a remarkable home that rivals the world’s finest hotels and private mansions: Spanish marble flooring, fine carpets, a polished baby-grand smart piano, and soft, apricot velvet sofas – this would be your first impression upon entering, but for the view.

Yes, that view. The azure Mediterranean, which spans the panorama and demands your attention. And, when you finally drag your eyes back inside, the elaborate ceiling, each fragment painstakingly pieced from a Moroccan Palace, draws the eyes.

In fact, everything at Villa Firenze demands you take a closer look: fine art, luxury textiles, collected antiques, and priceless statues. The villa, which displays Arabesque, French and Dutch influences, is a complete sensory experience. Even with a full week here, there is not time enough to fully take in all the exquisite details and collectibles the owner has on display.

And yet, Villa Firenze is more than its décor: with seven large, ensuite bedrooms, a cinema room, billiards room, piano bar, and a luxe indoor spa with pool, hot tub, steam room, massage room, and sauna within and immaculate gardens, tennis courts, putting green, and a 30-metre infinity pool without, the property is your playground.

A playground with spectacular views – landscape parkland and rose gardens, sweeping out to the Mediterranean, Gibraltar, and the African coast – and an exclusive address: situated in Marbella’s elite address of Sierra Blanca, a privileged community reserved for the world’s most discerning owners.
