The spacious formal living room takes the centre stage of the ground floor; classically Spanish yet stylish, with elegant cream sofas around an open fire. Décor extends to plush rugs, antique furnishings, understated art and simple white orchids. Adjacent to the living room is the TV room, which features warm wood floors, French blue-coloured sofas, plush cushions and a TV. Sunlight streams through the large bay window.
The living room connects with the formal dining room, which seats eight and overlooks the manicured gardens and pool. Two outdoor dining tables offer al fresco, shaded seating for 12+. A small breakfast cove in the kitchen is ideal for enjoying morning coffee and the newspaper.
The kitchen is classical yet modern, and is equipped with marble worktops, a central island, and a gourmet stove with five gas rings, a grill plate, and a hot griddle plate for cooking steaks. Appliances include two refrigerators, microwave, dishwasher, and coffee maker.
The huge, wrap-around garden extends over the 2,400m2 plot. A shaded terrace overlooks the beautiful, 15-metre pool and accompanying wicker sun loungers. The garden offers lush landscaping, mini football nets, and Table Tennis.
Bedroom 1: Ground floor grandparents’ suite, with side-by-side twin beds. The suite opens onto the garden and has a new en-suite marble bathroom with full bath and shower.
Bedroom 2: The spacious and stylish master bedroom on the first floor offers a pleasing combination of dark wood floors and vintage French-styled tables and linens. A vaulted ceiling and dual-aspect windows lend light and space, and the beautiful terrace overlooks the pool and Mediterranean Sea views. The master en-suite bathroom has a large, jetted tub, marble and stone finishes, and magnificent sea views.
Bedroom 3: Known as the “girl’s room,” this sweet bedroom is decorated in white printed wallpaper, coordinating décor and a queen-sized bed. The Juliet balcony overlooks the pool. This bedroom and the attic room (Bedroom 5) share a full bathroom of cream marble and a rain shower.
Bedroom 4: This first-floor “boy’s room” promises polished wooden floors, creamy background, a black leather king-sized bed, and a Union Jack carpet, a nod to the owner’s British roots. Kids love the work desk and Juliet balcony, which overlooks the garden. There is an en-suite, cream marble shower room.
Bedroom 5: Accessed via a spiral staircase, the attic room is a “cool’ choice for older kids. Twin beds and castle turret-style windows make this a great hideaway for teenagers. This bedroom shares the family bathroom with the girl’s bedroom on the first floor.
Bedroom 6: The staff bedroom, or nanny’s quarters, is accessed via the kitchen. It offers a single bed and shower room, and is simply decorated but well equipped.
Some bedrooms may have space for an additional bed for a child or a cot, please ask us for details.
